As part of Tansa's ongoing partnership with The Associated Press (AP) we are pleased to announce one of the single largest updates to the Stylebook since it was first officially offered as an additional component of the Tansa proofing solution in 2007.
Tansa recently incorporated over 500 new entries and a number of significant modifications to the AP component in our system, based on the recently published 2011 Stylebook. Tansa is proud of the relationship it has forged with the AP over the years wherein we provide the unique service of actively checking for and identifying AP style violations in some of the most heavily used text editors and publishing systems in use today.
Tansa's integration of the Stylebook not only includes "spell checking" features, but also provides quick and easy access to the AP Stylebook's online reference site, utilized by writers, editors, students and public relations specialists across the globe. Online or in print, the AP Stylebook is an essential tool for professional publishers.
