What's new in Tansa System 3
The Tansa Text Proofing System 3 is an extensive upgrade of the Tansa system that includes a large number of improvements and new functions for existing Tansa clients.
We Listened to You
Our clients told us what they wanted in the next generation of the Tansa Text Proofing System. Based on that feedback, we've been working hard for the last two years on a major upgrade to the whole system.
In fact, System 3 is a complete re-write of the Tansa system, intended to improve all aspects of the system. These improvements include:
- The proofing server is now much smarter, with improved routines for handling names, abbreviations and punctuation.
- Client and server communication is now XML-based, utilizing a Web Service, which expands the reach and capability of the system.
- The Tansa Client software for proofing and hyphenation is now standardized for all client applications and platforms and has a more user-friendly user interface with adjustable windows and new shortcut keys.
- A new Tansa Administrator tool now makes it significantly easier to add new words and phrases to your system's dictionary, and gives your designated dictionary manager greater control over Tansa's operation.
We believe all of our existing Tansa customers will find System 3 a compelling upgrade.
