System Requirements
The Tansa Text Proofing System 3 will fit into the technology infrastructure of most organizations.
Tansa Server
The Tansa Server requires the following:
- 2GHz Pentium 4 processor (minimum)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Internet connection (to use the Tansa Update service)
- 80 MB of free RAM for the Tansa Server application
- 160 MB of free RAM for each dictionary running on the Tansa Server
- 200 MB free hard disk space
- Free USB port (for hardware key)
- 100 MB network card
NOTE: Specific hardware specifications depend on the number of concurrent users, the number of dictionaries and/or language profiles, as well as the other applications running on the server. Please consult with a Tansa support professional before purchasing any new hardware.
Tansa Administrator
The Tansa Administrator requires the following:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP
- 72 MB of free RAM
- TCP-IP network access and open port 80 (HTTP) access to the server running the Tansa Server application
Tansa Clients
The Tansa Clients require the following:
- Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Mac OS X 10.3.9 or Mac OS X 10.4.x
- 72 MB of free RAM
- A Tansa Client Extension for your text editing or page layout application(s)
- TCP-IP network access and open port 80 (HTTP) access to the server running the Tansa Server application
